Principle
World Class Escort is a static editorial site. It offers no user account and no basket, and does not seek to identify its visitors. One page takes a submission: the vote, which records a choice between two invented characters and nothing about the person who made it.
Cookies and trackers
The site sets no cookie, technical or advertising, and uses no tracker or analytics tool. No resource is loaded from a third-party server. The vote page does write one record inside your browser, which is not a cookie and is never sent to us; the Votes section below says exactly what it holds.
Connection logs
Like any web server, this one records the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, response code, browser type. These logs serve only to keep the service running and secure. They are not used to build a profile of anyone, and no attempt is made to connect them to a person.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and availability of the site.
- Retention: twelve months at most, then deletion.
- Recipients: this data is neither sold, transferred nor passed to anyone, except where a lawful order requires it.
Votes
The vote page asks you to choose between two invented characters. A vote stores three things on the server: the character that won, the character that lost, and the time. Nothing else is recorded. No account is created, and no address or identifier is kept in any form, hashed or otherwise. The request carrying the vote appears in the connection logs above, like every other request, and is handled exactly as they are.
One record is written inside your browser. It is a single entry under a single key, listing which pairings you have answered and which of the two you picked, together with today’s date, today’s pair, your pick and the split you were shown for it. It holds nothing else: no name, no identifier, no address, no history of anything but your own answers.
That record never leaves your browser. The page is offered several pairings at once and the browser picks one you have not answered, so we are never told what you have answered and could not say if you asked us. No request carries that list. It is also not a cookie, and the distinction is a real one: a cookie is attached to every request sent to the server, this record is attached to nothing. It exists for three purposes and no others. So that a browser votes once per calendar day, counted by your own device’s clock. So that coming back to the page shows the answers you already gave, and on the same day the pair, pick and split you already saw, rather than a blank slate. And so that the same two faces are not put in front of you while pairings you have never seen are waiting.
- Legal basis: not applicable. A vote holds no personal data, so there is nothing in it for data protection law to attach to. The record in your browser holds nothing about you but the answers you gave and the day you gave the latest one, and is never sent to us.
- Retention: votes are kept for as long as they are counted. We do not set a deletion date for data that identifies nobody, and there is no record to erase on your behalf. The browser record is kept for as long as you keep it: clearing your site data removes it, and we can neither reach it nor restore it, because we never held it.
- Consequence: we cannot tell whether two votes came from the same person, and we have chosen not to be able to. The once-a-day limit is kept by your browser alone, as a courtesy: clearing your site data or switching to another browser undoes it, and nothing on our side notices or prevents that. If you write to the address given on the contact page, your email address and the content of your message are processed for the sole purpose of replying to you, then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you. To exercise it, write to info@worldclassescort.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Changes
This policy may be amended to reflect a change in the site or in regulation. The version in force is the one published on this page, and it takes effect when it is published.
